TOP Strategy Phase Military

Recruit

Raise or lower the soldiers of a base. Raising the number of soldiers gives you an advantage in battle or during Castle defense.
There are 2 types of soldiers, infantry and militia. Militia are recruited from farmers and infantry are recruited from refugees. You can use the slider to adjust the numbers of each. The amount of time it takes to finish recruiting depends on the changes you make. You may Recruit (Change soldiers settings) as many times as you want, every month.
By designating numbers lower than the current number of soldiers, you can return people to their original status, militia to farmers, infantry to refugees.

Characteristics of militia

Continues to produce provisions but not as many as farmers, so the harvest will be reduced.
Since the number of farmers is reduced, the harvest is reduced and productivity also drops.
The higher the popularity, the less time it takes to finish recruiting.
There is no upkeep.
In battle, morale will lower as each turn passes or if they are at a continual disadvantage.

Characteristics of infantry

Does not require harvest.
Every month, you have to pay their stipend. (Gold balance decreases based on the number of infantry.)
If you run out of gold, they return to being refugees.
More powerful in battle than militia.

Morale doesn't drop as quickly as militia.
Morale rises if they continue to have an advantage.

It rises based on "Agriculture" ‐ "Sow" or "Mow", but is reset in September after the harvest. (Initial position depends on popularity, etc.) This will drop if a disaster occurs.
Harvest The amount of provisions the base will produce in September.
Needed Income In September, if the amount of Harvest for a base is less than its needed income, the popularity in that base will decrease. It increases each year, and is higher for a larger population.

Declare War

Select a clan and declare war on them. This will put you into war status. In this state, you can now March on the enemy clan's counties and bases.

Declaring War

March

Gather units from each base and move them to the target county. This can only be performed in war status, if you have declared war on a clan or some clan has declared war on you. You can also designate counties as midway points.
After setting the target, confirm the units and then begin the march.
A battle will occur when the marching armies run into enemy armies.
