Normal Magic

Normal Magic is a supplemental technique used to link together other actions and turn the tide of the battle in your favor, through such means as gathering together enemy forces or inflicting status ailments on them.
It uses a little of the Magic gauge.

Charge Magic

This is a special type of magic that can be used against specific targets or enemies.
Possessing greater Attack strength than Normal Magic, Charge Magic is particularly suited to sweeping aside entire enemy units.
It uses up all of the Magic gauge.

Unique Magic

Each character possesses their own Unique Magic.
This magic inflicts damage equivalent to a Musou Attack, wreaking devastation to enemies at close or medium range.
This magic uses up all of the Magic gauge and half of the Musou gauge.

Conjure Mount

This allows you to summon a horse or other mount.
While mounted, you can still use Normal Attacks and switch your player character. You cannot use other magic, however.
Conjure Mount does not use up any of the Magic gauge.

Unity Magic

This is the most powerful magic there is.
Unity Magic can only be triggered when the Unity Magic gauge is full. It is a cooperative attack involving seven characters, including support members, which inflicts damage upon enemies in a wide area.
After Unity Magic is used, certain abilities will be significantly boosted for a limited time. The boosted abilities will change depending on the Attack Type of the support members.

• Power: Attack strength doubled for 30 seconds
• Speed: Movement speed increased by 50% for 30 seconds
• Technique: Musou gauge will remain full for 12 seconds

How to efficiently fill the Unity Magic gauge

• Land Charge Magic or Unique Magic on the enemy.
• Land a magic attack on the enemy while the hit counter is in excess of 300 or 1,000.

Deification

When in a Rage state, some characters can undergo Deification.
When Deified, the character’s Musou gauge will gradually fill automatically over time, abilities will increase, and Unique Magic will be powered up.
Additionally, magic can be used without using up any of the Magic gauge.
