BURLINGAME, Calif. – Sept. 10, 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Team NINJA unleashed a brand-new character into world of DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round, as Minato enters the 3D fighter ready for battle. To help fans better understand the new character and her fighting style, Team NINJA released a one-two combo of introduction videos, showcasing her striking move set and combos. To celebrate Minato’s reveal, KOEI TECMO also announced the Minato Debut Sale*, giving fans a 25% discount on DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round, along with the “Free Character Release Campaign” that gives fans the opportunity to play as four additional characters in Core Fighters for free for a limited time.

Minato, who also goes by the nickname TOKYO JK, is a seemingly ordinary high school student with an exceptional talent for dancing whose fighting style blends her flashy dance moves with her impressive physical ability, showcasing her flair and skill. As genius scientist NiCO’s best friend, Minato has gained access to special devices developed by the “scientist of blue flashes” and wears these devices while she fights. Fans can now purchase the “Minato Debut Costume Set”, comprised of five outfits**, as well Minato’s character license both separately and simultaneously.
In celebration of Minato joining the DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round roster, players will also have access for free to four additional characters in DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round Core Fighters, and will be able to battle as Nyotengu, Leifang, Kokoro, and Hitomi in all modes (including online, offline, and Photo Mode) until Sept. 24.
DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round, the definitive version of DEAD OR ALIVE 6, has been optimized for the latest hardware and includes the original 24 characters alongside five characters from the game’s DLC lineup (Nyotengu, Phase 4, Momiji, Rachel, and Tamaki)***. In the free-to-play DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round Core Fighters edition, players can enjoy the thrilling battles with fighters Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO, through Photo Mode and online modes**** “DOA Quest” and “DOA Central”.
