KOEI TECMO Celebrates the 17th Anniversary of Attack on Titan with a New Visual for Attack on Titan 3

BURLINGAME, Calif. – Sept. 8, 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Omega Force unveiled the key visual for the opening animation of Attack on Titan 3, the latest installment in the Attack on Titan action game series, scheduled for release on Dec. 10, 2026, on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, XBOX Series X|S and PC Windows via Steam®.Created by animation studio MAPPA, the key visual celebrates the 17^th Anniversary of Attack on Titan. Set against the backdrop of Eren standing with his back turned, the illustration features Mikasa, Armin and Levi facing forward to confront him.Attack on Titan 3 is the riveting culmination of Omega Force’s action game series, depicting the story of Attack on Titan from its survey corps beginnings to its dramatic conclusion. In this title, fans will dive into the action by taking on the role of a member of the Scout Regiment to relive the historical events that shaped the world alongside the iconic cast of Attack on Titan.

In addition to the standard edition available in digital and physical format, fans can pre-order a special Steelbook™ launch edition with ICONART on all physical platforms. A Digital Deluxe Edition is also available to pre-order, and features the base game, the Digital Artbook, a character customisation pack, an original equipment pack, a starter item pack, and a 72-hour Early Access key**.

Players who pre-order a digital copy of the game will receive the “Wings of Freedom Earrings” customization item as a digital pre-order bonus, while everyone who purchases a physical or digital copy of the game*** will receive the “Wings of Freedom Hoodie” customization item as an early purchase bonus.

All players with existing Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle save data will receive additional in-game bonuses (saved data must be stored on the same console used to play Attack on Titan 3). More details will be shared at a later date.

Attack on Titan 3 is currently in development and is scheduled to release Dec. 10, 2026 on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, XBOX Series X|S and PC Windows via Steam®. The game will include Japanese voices with texts in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
