The new Legend Mode includes Hero Scenarios which depict the stories of heroes, and Legend Scenarios, which are remakes of battles from past games that series fans will recognize. As battles are cleared, a town known as the castle town will develop. The familiar Challenge Mode is also included, and players can compete against each other through online rankings to see who can defeat the most enemies.
